Deputy head of the All-Ukrainian Union of Defenders of Ukraine athletes and employees of spheres Viktor Ostretšov and head of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) Vadym Hutsayt on December 25, on Christmas, greeted the children of servicemen. Several dozen children, their parents and representatives of the sports community, the Trade Union and the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) took part in the festive event. During the meeting, the children took a small tour where they learned about the conduct of the Olympic Games.
In addition, the children talked about being involved in various sports, and among the girls, there are even those who train in the boxing section. The little guests were shown videos about past and future Olympic Games. Also, the head of the NOC Vadym Hutsayt answered the questions of aspiring athletes.
As the deputy head of the Trade Union Victor Ostretšov noted, such events always bring a positive mood, but at the same time, children see that engaging in sports is interesting and beneficial. "Sport shapes a person's character, and when children see positive examples of victories, including our Olympians, such meetings stay in memory for a long time," believes Ostretšov.
At the end of the event, the children received festive sets with sweets.
