All-Ukrainian Union of Defenders of Ukraine, Athletes and Workers in the Field Actively Carries Out the Rehabilitation of Military Personnel. More than 1100 Ukrainian defenders have received social assistance for rehabilitation. And now the Union is developing programs to significantly increase the number of rehabilitated soldiers.

The head of the Union, Serhiy Bizov, points out that after the wartime, millions of people will need psychological and physical rehabilitation. And it's not just the military, but also volunteers, people who have been touched by the war, and displaced persons.

"The war has become a national one, it has touched every family. Therefore, military life, employment, defense of the rights and interests of defenders is a whole complex of actions. Starting from ensuring that a person not only undergoes rehabilitation, but also returns as a healthy personality to society," says Bizov.

The story is about the process of military rehabilitation. Mykyta Tsiliurik, an international relations advisor to the Union, explains the importance of rehabilitation for soldiers and the opportunities of specialized institutions in Ukraine using the example of foreign legion fighters.
