On Thursday, January 11, a working meeting of representatives of the All-Ukrainian Union of Defense of Ukraine, athletes and workers of various fields, the regional military administration, local authorities, activists, and military personnel took place at the Poltava Sports Complex "Akvarena".
The head of the Trade Union, Serhiy Bizov, addressed the audience, informing about the work of the trade union organization and the social protection of its members. In turn, the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Vitaliy Lavrov, joined the meeting online and also supported the actions of the Union.
During the discussion, participants expressed their thoughts on social protection of the military, and the development of "adaptive sports". The main theme of the meeting was also the establishment of a separate primary organization of the Union in the Poltava region. Thus, war veteran and former athlete Oleksandr Krasnovych stated that it is better to contribute part of the money to the trade union and then receive assistance and support for sports, instead of "spending it all on the pharmacy". "That's why I support the establishment of a separate primary organization of the Union of Defenders of Ukraine, which will unite precisely the people who serve, those who have already returned. This is a good cause," said Krasnovych.
There were also discussions about the work of the Union in the Poltava region. The Secretary of the Poltava City Council, Kateryna Yamshchykova, stated the great need for comprehensive information in the community about the Trade Union. "We are ready to support the participation of our community in the work of the Trade Union in all institutions and institutions," said Yamshchykova.
Finally, the first deputy chief of the regional military administration, Bohdan Korolchuk, expressed the administration's desire to join the Trade Union after the organizational process. The meeting ended with a visit to the sports hall "Akvarena", where new sports simulators were installed.
The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Filip Pronin, also mentioned the discussion for the development of "adaptive sports" and the vision for the establishment of a separate primary organization of the All-Ukrainian Union of Defense of Ukraine, athletes and workers of various fields in the Poltava region.
